Biography
Lisa is a highly experienced and sought after music department head, music educator, ensemble and choral director, arranger and voice specialist with over 20 years experience both in her home country Australia as well as throughout the world. Lisa has managed and collaborated with local and international staff to educate music students, focusing on collaboration, communication and student-centred learning to best meet unique learning needs. Lisa has strong capabilities in understanding global curricular mapping, development, integration, implementation and assessment, and has extensive experience in the International Baccalaureate (PYP and MYP), English National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE (U.K), The Common Core (U.S.A) and NSW/NESA Music Syllabus (Australia). Lisa’s reputation precedes her ability to provide learning opportunities within a nurturing, encouraging and inspirational environment that promotes excellence through collaboration, communication, risk-taking, mutual respect and commitment. Instilling these core attributes and values as a firm foundation on which all students can build throughout their lives.
In addition to her work in Music leadership, Lisa is also an internationally respected singer, songwriter and recording artist whose incredible musical versatility encompases a wide range of genres and styles. She has performed extensively throughout Australia, the Middle East and Asia as well as appearances throughout North America, Africa and Europe at festivals, in concerts and cabaret shows as well as leading bands, choirs and acapella ensembles.
